The band name stands for (Mike) McCready, (Jeff) Ament, (Chris) Cornell, (Matt) Cameron. This song is a one-off, live in-studio cut recorded for for a Jimi Hendrix tribute album called 'Stone Free' that also featured songs from Eric Clapton, Spin Doctors, Living Colour and others.
"Hey Baby (Land of the New Rising Sun)" is a Hendrix song written late in his career in 1970. A live studio take was included on his "Rainbow Bridge" album, released posthumously.
