Adi Metal Rock terbentuk tanggal 15 April tahun 1984 di Surabaya. Yang unik dari band pengusung aliran metal klasik ini adalah kelima personilnya berasal dari satu rahim yang sama dan nama Adi disisipkan ditengah-tengah nama lengkap mereka. Adi Sandoyo (Keyboard), Adi Nirwanto (Bass), Adi Sugiarto (Vocals), Adi Prasetyo (Guitar) dan Adi Prastanto (Drums) kerap tampil dengan dandanan ala Kiss dengan kostum nyeleneh dan memakai topeng.
