The Explain are an Italian band from Milan who formed in January 2006. Nico, the singer, and Mat, one of the guitarists, decided to set up a rock project. They soon recruited a drummer, Mirko, with whom they have already played in the past in another band (this band was also called the Explain and has a demo to its credit, recorded in 2004, as well as taking part in Rock Targato Italia and many other concerts in Milan). Then Cigo, the bass guitarist, joined the group. He is Nico's friend and his ex-schoolmate.
