Andrew Jamieson

Having an unconventional production process usually results in an extraordinary product; case and point, singer/songwriter, Andrew Jamieson. His creative process consists of various steps including improvising several sets of lyrics over a balanced melody then developing that into a perfect harmony between powerful music and heartfelt meaning. Andrew Jamieson is heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, and Nick Drake, while lyrically he is inspired by the likes of Jack Kerouac, Pablo Neruda, and Rumi.

Andrew Jamieson has been playing guitar and other instruments for over 13 years and has recorded over 500 original songs, including 3 full albums. Andrew Jamieson is no stranger to live performances; in 2008 Andrew hosted a weekly acoustic night in Litchfield, CT for over six months. Most recently, Andrew has moved on to the college scene with 2 shows at the University of New Hampshire in the spring of 2009 with a large show scheduled for the fall at Hofstra University in New York.

Andrew is currently working on a new EP from his recent time in the white mountains of New Hampshire. Keep an eye peeled as this artist is quickly gaining momentum. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
