Quercus
There are at least two bands with the name Quercus
One is an English folk/jazz trio comprising June Tabor - vocals, Huw Warren - piano and
Iain Ballamy - saxophones. Their eponymous debut album was released on ECM records on 18 March 2013. The other is a two-man project from the Czech Republic with a heavy, uncompromising, modern doom sound that shows some similarities to old Unholy. Cold, dissonant and bleak music for the joyless winter nights.
