Ambershades
The band that eventually became Ambershades was formed in Waterloo Studios, London, in 2001 by Davey La and Ben Castle - both producers who decided to start writing and recording their own material. Featuring perfect harmonies, with more than a nod to the 60s and full of upbeat summery anthems that on further listens reveal a darker lyrical side, their debut album, Clap Clap Clap became one of the most critically-acclaimed albums of 2005.
