Anna Oxa, born ( Ilirjana Hoxha) 28 April 1961 Bari, is an Italian singer of Albanian descent, well-known through numerous appearances in the Sanremo Music Festival, dating back to 1978. Her entries include "Ti lascero", "Storie" and "Senza pieta", the latter winning in 1999. With Fausto Leali she represented Italy in the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest in Lausanne, finishing in equal ninth place singing "Avrei Voluto". In 1999-2002 she was married to Behgjet Pacolli.
