Melopainter aka Uku Nurk (born July 17, 1968) is an Estonian musician, ambient music composer. Melopainter is a ethno / experimetal project formed in 2007 by Uku Nurk as a solo project in order to pursue the more experimental work he had contributed as Uku Nurk from the end of 90'ies.
The project revolves around two separate yet overlapping areas - PC recording and video works, both environments being treated as complimentary but different sides of the same coin. Adding video to his tracks makes possible to notice rich imaginary content of Melopainters music.
