Founded in the spring of 1999 and officially constituted with UCS that fall, ARRR!!! is the only student group on Brown University's campus dedicated to the singin’ of sea shanties in a style they call "a capirate." These saucy wenches and lusty pirates sing any song about the sea, or about drinkin’ rum, or about being at sea when ye’d much rather be ashore drinkin’ rum with pretty lassies who’re also drinkin’ rum. They have recorded two albums, to date: 1. The Scourge of the Open Waters
2. Spontaneous Rumbustion
