Beady is the brainchild of Bradford's Dave Cogan.

All tracks were written between 1992 and 1997 on very basic equipment using a DOS-based sequencer rather than the then completely unreliable windows environment. The music is an early breakbeat/house crossover and demonstrates influences from many forms of music. Defintely psychedelic but not designed to be dance music. Do feel free to 'ave it if the mood takes

At the time, Dave was working in practically all aspects of the music industry - stage management, sound engineering, lighting, venue management, promoter, security and stewarding. Dave has currently focussed his energies to become a live sound engineer and works on a freelance basis.

Dave is equally at home at front of house or as a monitor engineer and has toured with many famous bands ranging across the musical spectrum from Air to Motorhead. He is currently the monitor engineer for Hawkwind and FOH engineer for Oojami and regularly works with Tarantism, RDF, Pronghorn, AOS3

He specialises in doing the sound at festivals and spends the entirety of May to September tied to a large mixing desk at festivals. Just this summer, he has personally engineered somewhere in the region of 200-250 bands in front of about 150,000 people

There is only one thing more important to Dave than music itself and that is seeing the happy faces of audiences loving the bands
