Daniel Belfield is 24 years old, and from New Zealand. He began writing his own music around 1996, and in the year 2000 he decided to enter a studio to record a collection of his songs, which are a unique blend of psychedelic, folk, and melodic accoustic tracks. The outcome was a demo cd named 'The Lemon Tree Hill' which featured 11 tracks, which included the psychedelic 'Bright Purple Frogs', 'The Mystical Uxoricide', 'The Lemon Tree Hill' and 'Magic Farmer', melodic accoustic tracks 'Kingfisher' and 'Crying Out' and even a lengthy indian jam called 'Pratyahara'.
