Osiris
There are at least 9 bands named Osiris: 1) A progressive rock band from Bahrain led by Mohammed (guitar) and Nabil Al-Sadeqi (drums). The music of OSIRIS mixes Anglo-Saxon progressive influences (CAMEL, GENESIS, JETHRO TULL) with Arabic music, notably the interplay of percussion lines and succeeds in being a genuine musical osmosis between two cultures. 2) A progressive thrash band with some technical flair, with early Watchtower and Queensrÿche influences noted on occasion. The band faded away after the one album.
