There is more than one artist with this name 1) Shots was a short-lived new wave of british heavy metal band formed in 1978 by Bruce Dickinson and brothers Phil Siviter and Doug Siviter after Dickinson's previous band Speed split up. Dickinson left the band in summer 1979 after being asked to join Samson. Full biography: Dickinson spotted an ad in Melody Maker with the caption "Singer wanted for recording project". Since he had never been near a recording studio he replied immediately.
