Jon Brownhill was raised in a Christian home in Brockport New York. This must be said first as it was such an integral part of his adolescent life. He went to church school, his friends were all from church, and he played on the church music team. All of his early childhood musical influences were Christian artists. It wasn’t until he went away to college in Southern Illinois that this all began to change.
