Mélanie Renaud, une chanteuse québécoise, est née en Haïti est adoptée à l'âge de huit ans. Elle a commencé son métier en chantant sur le piste "Mon ange" d'Éric Lapointe à 18 ans. Après ça, l'equipe de M. Lapointe l'aider créer son premier album, "Ma liberté". Ses collaborations inclure une chanson avec Corneille, "Vivre pour soi".
