There are two Matt Taylors.
(1) Very good leadbelly-blues player singer made his mark when he tee up with long john baldry a good track easy rider blues from the album long john baldry. remembering leadbelly [email protected]
(2) Australian blues legend. Perhaps best known for being the front man for blues band Chain in 1970-1971 he dropped out to live in a commune in Beechworth, Victoria for a few years before coming back as a solo artist with his best known hit I Remember When I Was Young (1973) (the most popular "Matt Taylor" track here on last.fm).
He has performed with many Australian blues artists, and has supported many major US blues artists. He is still (2009) performing with reunions of Chain.
