Twenty Seven Hours hailed from Wilmington, NC roughly from 1996 to 1998. The story goes something like this.... A couple of members of Essoasso and Locutus paired up with Sam Bain and Philippe Jean for the original line up. Philippe sang, Sam bass, Jason learned to play drums, and TJ on guitar. Originally the band name was 'An imitation of life' which was just too long, so somehow we came up with twenty seven hours. One demo tape was released under the name 'imitation of life' after about a month of us practicing... it was pretty awful, but fun.
