Dong Young-Bae (Korean: 동영배, Hanja: 東永裴, born May 18, 1988), better known by his stage name Tae-Yang or SOL, is a member of Korean band Big Bang (빅뱅). Tae-Yang is the main vocalist and dancer of the group. Alongside fellow Big Bang members, Tae-Yang is signed with management company YG Entertainment. His training under YG Entertainment began at the age of twelve alongside fellow Big Bang member G-Dragon. After training for six years in vocals and dancing, Tae-Yang made his official debut in 2006 as part of Korean band Big Bang.
