The Toronto-based group Dead Bent has been playing its unique and refreshingly original blend of music to audiences of all ages and all musical tastes. Although fundamentally a hip-hop group, the eight young musicians demonstrate a mature approach to the genre by composing songs based on pop, jazz and funk. Dead Bent has played alongside artists such as Swollen Members and Diabolic, and they have also performed at the NXNE music festival two years in a row.
