Zemby is an experimental rock band formed in 1985 in Szczecin (Poland) by Przemysław Thiele and Paweł Nowakowski. The band doesn't perform live and most of their material is self-released, Zemby 11 is their first proper debut on a label. Zemby have collaborated with Adam Snyder from Mercury Rev, who appeared on their latest album, Zemby 11 (recorded in 2002, released in 2010 on Michał Mendyk's Bôłt Records), contributing to 8 songs playing various instruments and providing vocals. Other collaborators include saxophonist Anna Zaradny, and writer Janusz Rudnicki.
