SAOLIS is the moniker for the musical output for musician and writer James Dazell. (Based in Manchester, UK) The music is a combination of alternative rock, with ambient elements of noise and electronic music. Taking inspiration from whatever music and ideas excites and inspires. Each record tackles different genres and production techniques, lending inspiration to find it's own place within each one. Live performances are announced for 2008 SAOLIS has recently collaborated on recordings with musician Jessica Aslan for a series of recordings
