There are at least two artists with this name.
1) When Bitch's S&M-themed heavy metal failed to reach commercial success, the band softened their sound and image, and recorded under the name of lead vocalist Betsy (Weiss). Their sole release, the 1988 Betsy album, also failed to ignite the charts, and the band reverted to their previous moniker, and sound.
