Something pheonomenal is afoot here. Ill Lillies' first full-length album, Greatest Hits Vol.1, combines haunting lyrical melodies with driving guitar riffs and scarce piano lines, resulting in a sound that is nostalgic for nostalgia. Touches of brilliance dot the album for sure. But Ill Lillies' music--plush with acoustic guitars and wailing vocals,--is both different and familiar. A can't miss album.
