Humboldt
Humboldt is a drone band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, formed in 2012 by Curran Faris (Greenhouse, Warsaw, Hide Your Daughters) and Cole Peters (Gomeisa, secret girls, Museums of Sleep). They play slow, dense, doom-tinged sounds with guitars, amplifiers, metal and electronics. The band is named after the Humboldt squid, and not the town in Saskatchewan.
