Canvas Blanco
Canvas Blanco is the brainchild of singer songwriter Jozua Koffeman (VandeBult, Brown Feather Sparrow, How To Throw A Christmas Party). What started within a safe cocoon, grew out in a headstrong way of writing: lively, adventurous and playful. Together with guitarist and producer Arjan de Wit (Void of Air, Zerah John & The Great Escape) the songs of Canvas Blanco developed into raw and imaginative Europicana.
The music of Canvas Blanco is characterized by the pure and spirited voice of Koffeman, supported by warm sounding acoustic guitars. The musical horizons are kept broad through acoustic, dreamy and classical compositions. Musical influences are: Wilco, Sixteen Horsepower, Calexico, Sparklehorse and Grant Lee Buffalo.
