DJ 7
Dj 7, born in '71 a hobby Dj for over 20 years now.
http://soundcloud.com/amisven
He started off by mixing electronic new wave at wrong speeds (pitching!) in order to mix the bass and create a fluent dance drive. Musc like Front 242, nitzer ebb, Neon judgement, ...
Graduattly he evolved to techno and deep-house. The last years his attention got more towards minimal and idm.
His biggest gigs where playing at Panacea in Detroit (Carl Craig's club in Dirty D-town) and at club silo (www.silo.be) in his hometown, Leuven Belgium that is.
After playing deep house for a long time, he was glad that minimal came across his doorstep under the shape of Berlin based, Dj named Romina. Don't get him wrong, he still likes deep-house but very little decent records got releasd after 2002 in his opinion.
Recently he started to perform with a friend. he dj's with turntables and Saffire does live producing of what Dj 7 sends into his apple and ableton, trying to create a unique style & sound before it gets wacked through the speakers in to your ears.
The style is difficult to discribe, they don't like to stick to one genre but are challenged by finding a way of mixing what they like.
Keep the world dancin, it helps!
