Arleta
Arleta (Αρλέτα) is a greek singer. Her real name is Nikoleta Tsapra. She was born in Athens on the 3rd of March 1945. She studied painting at Athens School of Fine Arts. A lot of people, especially Greeks, when they hear Arleta’s name, they think associatively the word ‘new wave’ (νέο κύμα). And however, a long time has passed from then when Arleta first appeared in the Greek discography, and made sense with her particular voice, her expressive and sensitive interpretations.
