The Waterford Landing
The Waterford Landing originated in late 1997 as a side project for members Richard Rippe (electric bass, synthesizers and vocals) and Ed Matus (electric guitar, synthesizers and vocals) in the suburbs of Southwest Miami, Florida. Both members were already established musicians playing in heavy alternative bands since 1993. The main source for the inspiration behind The Waterford Landing came from various 1980s new wave bands like New Order and Ultravox to contemporary artists like The Magnetic Fields.
