Fusing contemporary alternative sounds with an evoking sense of melody, Antistatic's unique brand of modern rock has established them as one of the most hardworking and promising names in the WA scene. The Perth three piece completed recording the follow up EP to their debut release, "Still Life Portrait", in April 2006 at Melbourne's prolific Sing Sing Studios. Released nationally in July through Sic Squared Records and MGM, "Stand Up in Disguise" is a matured, intelligent and focused effort that ranks the band alongside their peers in contemporary Australian rock.
