China Shop was a band that began in 1980 after its two main members, the late Juan “Naux” Maciel and Steve Cohen, got to playing together. The band is essentially another obscure late-seventies sounding/post-punk affair, and is pretty boring and musically vacuous if you're not into that sort of thing. On the other hand, if you like punk music, even a little, this band's output is original, and the melody and instrumentation is varied and 'spicy.
