AuKUS was formed in Los Angeles with the goal of producing a defined, exceptional sound to compliment rock, alternative, and metal music. The band is comprised of Jason Baxter (vocals/guitar), Jon Costner (bass), and Sean Shahzad (drums). They build their empire upon a foundation of emotional sincerity through their lyrics, vocal melodies, and deterministic musical compositions. Being motivated by many different genres of music, the inspiration for the name AuKUS (signifying a combination of elements that, when put together, form a new and unorthodox blend) came from the diverse musical and personal backgrounds of each member. The band strives to make an emotional bond with its audience through their resolute and powerful approach towards music and life.

2010 marks the release of their 2nd EP titled “Hold Your Ground.”
