Lars Haavard Haugen plays guitar and sings backing vocals in the Norwegian Grammy Award winning bands Hellbillies and The Respatexans. He is also an accomplished session guitarist and record producer outside of these two bands. Haugen has been developing and writing instrumental material for years. "Core instrumental music and themes have always fascinated and influenced his traditional song writing, particularly lead by bands such as The Dixie Dregs and The Hellecasters. Apart from great song writing, their songs were – more importantly - purely instrumentally and virtuously arranged.
