After graduating from the Conservatory G. Verdi of Milan under Rocco Filippini, Gaetano Nasillo went on to study original instrument performance, adding to his cello studies that of the viola da gamba with Paolo Pandolfo at the “Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.”
He performs regularly in Europe, the United States, South America, Australia and Japan, often as soloist with prestigious European groups such as l’Ensemble 415, Concerto Vocale, Zefiro, Le Concert des Nations and Ensemble Aurora.
