There are at least two The Traps: 1) The Traps came first, were from Providence, RI (2003-2004) and sounded really, really mean, but in a rock 'n' roll way, not some lame metal way. At least one of them was then part of The Black Clouds and then Party Pigs. Those bands sound mean, too.
2) Birmingham based band, The Traps were born on 1st January 2008. The band spent much of the year writing, recording and playing live, gaining fans from their performances and from sending out free mp3s to those who messaged them directly on myspace.
