Like the icepick in a bad ass horror movie, ANTENORA has a way of busting through even the most hardened of ears. To make the listener not only succumb to the message they are sending, but to often, figuratively, make the them kneel down and emotionally "break". With the overly popularized, vomit inducing ideology of "getting signed" or "being rock stars" tossed out, or should we say THROUGH the window, ANTENORA have but one goal...to make you, the listener, walk away breathless.

ANTENORA was nothing more than an idea in the minds of guitarists COLE MARTINEZ (ex-Years of Fire, ex-Forever Untouched), CHRIS BRAID (ex-By Their Blood) and drummer BRIAN HANCULAK (ex-Years of Fire) to form a brutal death metal band. After being in and around the Cleveland metal scene, the initial idea progressed into what you hear now; a complex assemblage of melodic European influenced undertones and sheer 100% undeniable ferocity. It's this culmination that not only stands out in the melodramatic and sometimes putrid music scene that Cleveland has become, but that also grabbed the attention of vocalist JONNY "VEGAS" SAYRE (ex-Ventana, Erase the Grey) and bassist ANDREW "OGRE" LENTHE (Erase the Grey). The band is currently in the studio working on their first full-length album. The record is scheduled for release in early 2008 .

ANTENORA may not be groundbreaking. It might not be “the future of music” or whatever sophomoric cliché is thrown around by every up-and-coming band nowadays, but what it is will burn itself into your very core and remain there for years to come.
