The van toils with determination up the side of the fjord. The beams from the headlights dance, fanned out, and producing stars in the white mist. Strobe-light. Anti-aircraft fire, broken up by the houses along the countryside. Below in the valley the Fjord sleeps like a big black otter. Still and dark.
