1) Flightless Bird were formed by Tom Caswell and Fern Ford in October 2009. Both had just began studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford and soon decided to write music together. Their music is a combination of influences from blues, rock, jazz, funk, folk and artists/bands such as Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Derek and the Dominos, Blind Faith, Robert Johnson, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, She & Him, Muse, Sigur Rós, John Mayer, The Beatles to name a few... They are currently in the process of recording their EP which is scheduled to be released in May 2010.
