While watching his older brother and cousin write and record their own music, Zm became inspired and started rapping when he was 9 years old. Beginning as nothing more than a hobby, the past time that Z.M. grew to love so much started quickly forming into a career. At first, Z.M. only wrote lyrics for songs but at the age of 11 he received his first computer based "beat machine" which encouraged him to begin composing entire records on his own.
