Júpiter Maçã
His first solo album, "A Sétima Efervescência" (The Seventh Effervescence, 1997), is centered in the manner of "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", Pink Floyd's psychedelia, the sound of the Mod movement of the late 60's and more. After experiencing great success with the release of this disc, Júpiter Maçã becomes Jupiter Apple, composed in English, and decides to mix bossa nova and avant-garde sound. Many fans did not understand it, preferring the more accessible psychedelia of "The Seventh Effervescence". This unusual mix is very well done on your second album, "Plastic Soda" (1999).
