1. The Chain Gang were a punk band, contemparies of the Ramones and the late 70's NYC punks, although never a part of that scene. Although legendary to a few, their history and whether the group is still active remains something of an enigma. Their original records are difficult to find information about, and almost impossible to find. However, what is certain is that their first 7' was "Son Of Sam" released in '77 and it received limited success in the UK.
