In the summer of 2009, he assumed his stage name and began making 8-bit music with the FamiTracker program. Nowadays his arsenal consists of FamiTracker, LSDJ, FL Studio 9, and Korg DS-10+ for making tunes with and a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 for adding wicked awesome effects, though LSDJ remains the de facto program of choice.
