GodOnlyKnows. are an experimental noise band from the UK. Starting out as a post-rock band they incorporated many influences such as IDM, improv and drone into their sound. This lead to the band improvising all music when playing live and a naturally more chaotic sound. When recording the band use one of two methods, either playing live recording on one track or by "semi-improvisation", where there are many tracks but the songs are not composed beforehand.
