Ishmael refers to at least three different artists: 1) Ian Smale is a UK based children's worship leader and song writer who uses the name Ishmael. He has also used "Rev Counter and the Speedoze" and a couple of others. 2) Ishmael is a doom/sludge outfit from Plymouth, UK, formed in May 2009. 3) Ishmael is a four-piece band from New York, USA, featuring Jordan Lewis on guitar and vocals, Nick Otte on bass and lead vocals, Aaron Silberstein on percussion and Andy Werle on guitar.
