Skupina Sitňan vznikla v roku 1992 v Žiari nad Hronom. V roku 1995 nahráva prvé demo v štúdiu v Lučenci. Demo sa volá "IV. cenová ". Dochádza k prvým personálnym zmenám. Skupina koncertuje hlavne v žiarskom regióne napr. na festivale Garden of eden. Robí predkapelu skupine Chroming Rose na koncerte v Žiari nad Hronom. Ďalej sa účastní festivalu v Partizánskom Aerorock ´97. Koncom roku 1997 nahráva v žiarskom štúdiu Soundmaster druhé demo "Každému, čo jeho je ".
