Originally from Seattle, Miss Ashford made the move to New York in 2006. Her first full length album There, But for You, Go I was recorded in her Brooklyn bedroom and released on Paris based Waterhouse Records in the Spring of 2008. This album was self released in the United States in the Summer of 2008. She currently fronts the band Prairie Empire. The band has an album that is pending release.
