JoosTVD
Joost is a grooving funky, but also romantic soul. Selfmade, one-man's band, he has composed about 1200 songs so far..and counting. Used to play and record everything myself, but with modern technology that all changed and now I use real organic loops (drums), manipulate them and combine that with jazzy playing, a touch of improvisation and bluesy raspy cockerish blue-eyed soul singing. He has been inspired by many great artists who are mostly eclectic in styles, like Gino Vannelli, Todd Rundgren, Miles Davis, Boz Scaggs, John Martyn, Sting, Terry Callier.
