Brett Juilly's music is visual. It tells a story. Each melody is a character, and the song narrates each character's paths and discoveries. It's no surprise that Brett majored in film in college and has scored several short films, including a handful of his own. The first song he wrote, at age ten, was for a short science fiction film he was storyboarding.
