Essa música vendeu mais de 500 mil cópias, hoje equivalente a 5 discos de ouro ou 2 de platina, e ficou nas paradas durante seis meses consecutivos. Lançou um disco na Itália, gravou um em espanhol e foi reconhecido também em terras portuguesas.
