Getting in touch at an early age with Hip-Hop culture in the late 1980s led to Tucos' interest in DJing, which began with a bang in 1996 with his first professional gig supporting Moloko in his home town of Reading. After a few years of playing other people’s parties it was time to take things into his own hands and so in 1999 he began to organize the legendary ‘Livin' Proof’ nights which put Reading's Hip Hop scene back on the map and made Tuco a solid name as a DJ within the growing UK Hip Hop scene.
