The Ocean Floor started out as a boy, a guitar, and a dream. Then the dream was upgraded to a drum machine. From drum machine to duo, trio, quartet, then full fledged "floorchestra". The Ocean Floor has taken on many forms. For a decade the Ocean Floor has been continually evolving, growing, breaking, and reforming the way you think about pop music. The Ocean Floor is the brainchild of Lane Barrington, formerly of Orlando, Florida, and currently of Portland, Oregon. He made a lot of really great music in Orlando, and continues to do so in Portland.
